Engagements, marriages, and the birth of a baby are all incredibly special events that deserve to be celebrated. Professional photo shoots and announcements for these huge lifetime milestones have become increasingly popular.
Personally, I don’t enjoy having my picture taken so I avoid photographers at any cost. But, I love scrolling through my social media feeds and seeing the clever, beautiful, and heartwarming photos that my friends and family share. Perhaps they are far away or I wasn’t able to attend the event for some reason. Or, they chose to share their announcement only through photos. Whatever the circumstances, I love that my friends and family take the time and effort to have the photos done and to share their happiness with the rest of us.
Jazzy was excited for birth of baby #2 and she and her partner Rich planned a special photo shoot for themselves and their daughter, Reign. Baby #2 was also prominently featured in the shoot thanks to Jazzy’s gorgeous, belly baring pink gown. She was nine months along on the day, and it was almost time for baby to arrive.
The day of the shoot was carefully planned and the couple was worried about the weather as it had been raining in Atlanta for days before. Fortunately, on the day of the shoot, the skies cleared and they had perfect, sunny weather. Jazzy, Richard, and Reign made their way to the setting they had selected – in the woods by an idyllic waterfall. Jazzy knew that this was going to be a special day for her and her family, but had no idea just how wonderful it would be…
Richard had planned a fabulous surprise for Jazzy, one that would bring her to tears. Before the event, she had said he would never pull off something like this. However, he succeeded in a perfectly planned moment that their family will remember for years to come.
